When it comes to metal “Made in Germany”, there is no way around BRAINSTORM. Exciting times are now ahead: The band has signed a new record deal with Reigning Phoenix Music and will release their new studio album “Plague Of Rats” in early 2025. The new album not only marks another milestone in the band's career, but also revives the Indian themes first presented on “Soul Temptation” (2003) with two single tracks. With songs such as the fan favorite “Shiva's Tears”, the band set memorable standards back then that still resonate today.

Singer Andy B. Franck is very pleased about the new contract and the upcoming releases: “It feels great to have found a new home with Reigning Phoenix Music. With 'Plague Of Rats' we are making a clear statement: We are going back to the roots of our fascination for Indian culture with some songs. These sounds and harmonies have always inspired us and we wanted to bring them back into parts of our music.”

“Plague Of Rats” was produced by Seeb Levermann (Orden Ogan, Angus McSix), who helped the band to capture the raw energy of their live performances in the studio. The album cover was designed by Gyula Havanczák, who was responsible for the artwork on previous BRAINSTORM releases. Andy B. Franck emphasizes: “We only work with people we trust 100 percent. This team gives us the freedom to concentrate fully on the essence: the music."

It is particularly noteworthy that “Plague Of Rats” will not contain any quieter songs or ballads. Instead, the album is full steam ahead, unbridled and uncompromising. “It reflects the energy and determination we currently feel as a band. We're hungry and ready to hit the road with this album,” says Andy enthusiastically.
